Xiang’an is positioned as the new core of Xiamen-Zhangzhou-Quanzhou metropolitan area. It has positively advanced the construction of Xiang’an International Airport, New Town of East Coast, Eastern Sports and Exhibition Area, Tongxiang High-Tech Industry Base and other key projects. It has built a livable and enterprise-adaptable modernized littoral new city of ecologic type with distinctive characteristics and reasonable layout.

翔安数字经济产业园位于翔安大道西侧，园区规划总建筑面积约33.9万平米。主要引进人工智能、智能制造、集成电路、软件技术、大数据应用、精准医疗、生物医药、医学检测、物联网等战略新兴产业，在数字经济产业发展大趋势下，围绕翔安区现有产业基础及教育资源等条件，打造翔安数字经济产业生态圈。

Xiang'an Digital Economy Industrial Park is situated on the west side of Xiang'an Avenue with a total building area of 339,000 square meters. The park mainly introduces new strategic industries such as AI, intelligent manufacturing, IC, software technology, big data applications, precision medicine, biomedicine, medical testing, Internet of Things and so on. Under the trend of digital economy industry, relying on the existing industrial foundation and educational resources, Xiang'an Digital Economy Industry Ecosphere is created.
